The 44th Ontario Men’s Senior Four-Ball Championship returns to Meadowbrook Golf & Country Club this Monday, September 28, bringing together 112 players across 56 teams for one of the most anticipated senior events on the provincial schedule. First played in 1982, the championship has grown into a staple of Ontario’s senior golf calendar, celebrated for its competitive spirit, partnership, and long-standing tradition.
Competitors will take on Meadowbrook’s rolling countryside layout in an 18 hole four-ball format, beginning with an 11:00am shotgun start.

A True Championship Test
Golf Ontario is pleased to return to Meadowbrook Golf & Country Club for the 2026 Ontario Men’s Senior Four-Ball Championship. After hosting the event successfully in 2025, Meadowbrook has once again shown its commitment to supporting amateur golf and delivering a first‑class championship experience.
Tournament Director, Rob Watson highlighted the qualities that make Meadowbrook an ideal venue for senior competition “Known for its mature tree-lined fairways, strategic design, and outstanding playing conditions, Meadowbrook presents a fair but demanding test for the province’s top senior competitors. The course rewards precision, teamwork, and sound course management, making it particularly well-suited to the Four-Ball format where partners work together to navigate the challenges presented throughout the round.”
He also emphasizes the strength of Meadowbrook’s partnership with Golf Ontario, “Beyond the golf course, Meadowbrook’s dedicated staff, welcoming membership, and strong attention to detail have made the club a valued partner of Golf Ontario.”

Head Professional Ted Starr shared what competitors can expect from the course, “Meadowbrook is a great test of golf that will require the use of every club in your bag; with creeks and water features that need to be navigated throughout the property, precision off the tee is required. Meadowbrook prides itself on being a playable, fair, and at times challenging test of golf, and we look forward to seeing such great golfers get a chance to play at The Brook!” he says.
