Toronto, ON – Alexandra Taylor and Meredith Fairbairn delivered a standout performance to capture the Women’s Division title, carding a six-under-par 66. The pair combined for six birdies and an eagle, showcasing exceptional teamwork and consistency throughout the round. Their impressive play proved more than enough to separate themselves from the field and secure a well-earned championship victory.
Evelyn(Ruitong) Liu and Xinyun Ye (Blue Springs Golf Club, Golf Ontario Players Club – Halton Hills), finished in second place with a score of 67, five under par. In third place were Zhixin Lu and Katherine Xia with a score of 68.
In the Senior Women’s Division, defending champions Ivy Steinberg and Sandy Byckowski (Granite Golf Club and Brampton Golf Club) successfully repeated as champions, claiming the title with a one-over-par 73 after also winning the championship in 2024. The duo delivered a composed and consistent performance, making key pars throughout the round to maintain their advantage and secure victory in a tightly contested championship.
A three-way tie for second place at two-over-par 74 featured the teams of Michelle Viktil and Kim Triemstra (Braestone Club), Lynn Lean and Sandra Pacas (Spring Lakes Golf Club), and Jane Kirkpatrick and Lily Liu (Ladies’ Golf Club of Toronto).
