Golf Ontario conducts championships in all age categories for both male and female golfers. Events attract over 4,000 participants annually. Staff and trained volunteers coordinate all aspects of more than 60 events, including qualifiers, held throughout the golf season.

Events are hosted by member clubs, and Golf Ontario strives to ensure that all clubs have an equal opportunity for involvement and that plans are made well in advance of an event. Some events provide an opportunity for Ontario’s best golfers to test their skills against each other; others are focused more on ensuring that all golfers have an opportunity to compete at a level with which they are comfortable.
