Ontario’s Top Juniors Head to Bond Head for Super Camp Invitational

The 7th annual Ontario Super Camp Invitational is set to return this October 6-8 as 66 of Ontario’s top junior golfers gather at The Club at Bond Head to compete for the prestigious Dave Mills Trophy.

Tournament Director, Mason Cowan, describes the event as “a season-ending celebration of the great golf played throughout the year.”

“Players have earned their way into this championship based on their current-year performance and the Junior Golf Pathway Rankings,” said Cowan. “Super Camp provides one more opportunity to compete against the other top juniors in Ontario prior to the selection of Team Ontario. The camp portion will give the athletes quality feedback and information to help them plan their development this off-season.”

The four-day event begins with a one day Super Camp combine before shifting to a 54-hole championship. With invitations earned through season-long results, the field features many of Ontario’s most promising young golfers as they close out the competitive season.

The Club at Bond Head will provide a strong test for the championship field. “Bond Head challenges players with its elevation changes and iron looks into greens,” said Tournament Director Mason Cowan. “Players in both divisions will need to set themselves up for success off the tee in order to capitalize on their approach shots.”
