Are you looking for a supportive space to learn the game of golf? You’ve come to the right place! At Golf Ontario, we are passionate about promoting golf for women in fun and encouraging ways. Join us for an engaging evening of golf at various courses across Ontario!

What to Expect at a Women’s Learn Event:

These events are designed to help you learn valuable tips and tricks to improve your golf game with the guidance of experienced coaches. Engage in a group setting, practice with different clubs, ask questions, and enhance your skills! Please note, there will be no golfing on the course included—this event focuses on fine-tuning your game for your next round with friends.

    • Pre-Event Communication: A member of our participation team will provide you with all the essential information before the event. 

    • Personalized Attention: We’ll accommodate participant requests from the registration form (pairing requests, borrowing clubs, etc.).

    • Tip Videos: Provided to you by our partners at Iron Lady, you will have access to pre-event golf tip videos.

    • Warm Welcome: Our respectful team will greet you upon arrival.

    • Registration Gift: Enjoy a special gift for all participants.

    • Pre-Event Debrief: We’ll cover starting stations, timing, introductions to coaches, and details on where to meet for your meal.

    • Skill Stations: Participate in putting, chipping, and full swing stations, each led by a qualified coach.

    • Check-Ins: Our team will check in with all groups during rotations to answer questions and guide you to the next station.

    • Post-Learning Meal: Enjoy a complimentary meal and glass of wine after your learning session.

    • Feedback Opportunity: Share your thoughts through a post-event survey.

    • Stay Connected: Receive updates about future events and promotions via email.

  • Refund Policy

    Before Event Day:

    Refund available. All cancellations must be done via email to participation@golfontario.ca

      • A $12.00 plus tax administrative charge will be deducted

      • Entry fees cannot be transferred to other players

      • Entry fees cannot be deferred to a later event.

    Event Day or Post Event:

    No refunds except for the following.

      • The entry fee will be refunded (less the $12.00 plus tax administration fee) only in the event of injury or illness, if requested in writing to participation@golfontario.ca (Medical doctor’s note required).

    Refunds are processed within a week of cancelling your registration, due to weather or low participation numbers. Once processed, your refund can take up to 10 business days to show on your end. Please ensure you are checking the correct account. We appreciate your patience and cooperativeness during this process.

FAQ

  • What does my registration include?

    Learn Days – Registration includes your three sessions led by professional coaches, a meal post golf, and wine courtesy of our partner Noble Estates.

  • Do you have clubs that I can borrow if I do not have a set of my own?

    Absolutely! We have sets of loaner clubs for participants to use upon request in the registration form. Each bag will be full of balls and tees to use during your round.

  • I want to sign up with a friend/relative/colleague. How do ensure I am paired with them?

    While filling out the registration form, it is recommended that you put their name in the Notes section at the bottom the form. If you have already filled out the form and forgot to put their name down, please contact us.

  • What time should I show up to each event?

    Learn Days – Your starting station is when your first rotation will promptly start. Given this you should aim to arrive 20 – 30 minutes before the first station start time.

  • Do I get to play golf on the Learn Day?

    No – the learn day does not include golfing on the course, rather you will learn at three stations about techniques and skills you can apply to your golf game. Stations include Full Swing, Chipping, and Putting!
